What Went Well

Main tasks

I was thrilled with the ability design, which introduced fresh elements to the combat system and sandbox, even in the fourth installment of the series. It brought depth while honoring the roots of the previous games.

What Went Wrong

In the beginning, I struggled to design features for a sandbox game that could support diverse playstyles. Having previously worked on games with clear dynamics and player fantasies, it took me a few months to adapt to this new way of thinking and designing.

I learned a great deal about designing sandbox games and enabling player creativity. Additionally, by collaborating closely with programmers, I gained valuable insights into prototyping and technical design, creating tools to iterate and prototype more efficiently.
